Fence Permits

Fence permits are required in the Village of Whitehouse before any construction takes place.

You will need:

  • A site plan showing where you would like to place your fence.  You must have your neighbors written permission to place a fence on the lot line.  If you do not have your neighbors permission, the fence must be located 1 foot off the lot line.

  • No fences are allowed in front yards.

  • A building permit and zoning permit will be issued after approval of the location of the fence.

  • All fencing contractors must be registered with the Village of Whitehouse before a permit will be issued.
