Office Assistants

The Village of Whitehouse employees 3 part-time Office Assistants, who share the duties of answering phones, assisting visitors at Village Hall, filing, typing, and other duties as assigned.  

Cindy Bergfeld, the Safety Office Assistant, has been employed by the Village for 10 years.  Cindy and her husband, Dan, live in Waterville  Their two children both graduated from AWHS, Kelsey, who is attending The Ohio State University, and Cory, who attends Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI.  Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, walking, and attending Corey’s baseball games.

Rita Yunker has been with the Village of Whitehouse since January 2005.  Rita received her BS in elementary education from Northern Illinois University and was a former teacher in North Carolina.  Her husband, Larry, co-owned Cyber Broadcasting, LLC, in Minooka, Illinois, where she was the Office Manager for seven years.  Rita volunteers at Whitehouse Elementary, where her two sons, Larry III and Victor, attend school.  She is an active parent in Cub Scouts, soccer, and her Church and enjoys camping and traveling with her family.

Lorrie Parry joined the Village in late 2006, after working for the City of Maumee on a part time basis for the past 3 years.  Lorrie, and her husband Roy, have three sons; Sean, a graduate of The Ohio State University, Drew, a student at The Ohio State University, and Ray who attends Maumee High School.  Lorrie stays active with sporting events, gardening and stained glass projects.
