Councilmember William May
Councilmember
William "Bill" May is currently serving his fifth term on the
Whitehouse Village Council.
Mr. May has been a Whitehouse resident for thirty-eight years. He has been a member of the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire and EMS Department for 36 years and currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief. He is a member of the Lucas County Fire Chiefs Association, the Northwest Ohio Volunteer Firemen Association, the D-Mat National Disaster Medical Team, and an Assistant Fire Instructor for the State of Ohio. In 2005/2006, Bill spent five months as Assistant Chief of the full time Antarctica Fire Department to support the Federal Government's National Science Foundation Research Programs. His hobbies include bowling, NASCAR racing, football and traveling.
Over the years, Mr. May has served on all Council Committees, but currently serves on the following: Chair of Public Service. Member of Parks & Recreation and Franchise, Lands & Buildings.
