Design Review Board

The Design Review Board consists of five (5) members, including two downtown business owners, an architect/engineer, a Village Council representative, and a member of the historical society. These members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority of the members of Council.

The Board is established for the purpose of reviewing building permits for exterior renovation, demolitions and new construction to insure that the proposed change is consistent with the architectural and historical character within the downtown area.  Click here for a copy of it's By-Laws.

Members serve for three (3) year terms from the date of appointment or until their successors are appointed and qualified.
